"In the Loop" is Maze's official blog, a platform dedicated to sharing insights, resources, and updates about design, user research, and product development. After the company underwent a rebrand in January 2021, I was entrusted with the task of creating illustrations that aligned with the fresh visual identity crafted by Hervé Studio.
When I joined Maze, I had to quickly learn 3D modeling to take on a key responsibility—creating illustrations for our blog, In the Loop. As part of my weekly tasks, I modeled objects in Cinema4D and then refined the renders in Adobe Illustrator to produce polished visuals for our articles.
Prior to this, I had no experience with 3D design. However, I dedicated a month to learning Cinema4D, which allowed me to successfully create engaging and dynamic illustrations for the blog. Here are some of my favorite In the Loop illustrations.
